CONSULTATION EVENTS

On this section of the consultation website we will post details about future consultation events such as public meetings.  Please feel free to check this page regularly to see details of further events.

A number of public consultation meetings have now been arranged and are listed below.  Please note, there will be a British sign language interpreter at each event for the deaf and hearing impaired, as well as hearing loops installed for those who may require this service.

HOT SEAT INTERVIEWS

On October 20 2106 Stephen Eames, the chief executive at North Cumbria University Hospitals Trust (NCUH), and Dr Stephen Singleton, the medical director of the Success Regime answered questions on BBC Radio Cumbria around some of the consultation issues including Maternity, Childrens Services, A+E, Stroke, Surgery and the impact on West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven and the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. On November 23 2016 Claire Molloy, the chief executive of Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), Dr John Howarth, deputy chief executive of CPFT and Dr Niall McGreevy, the lead GP for Allerdale for NHS North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), answered question on BBC Radio Cumbria about beds in community hospitals and the development of Integrated Care Communities.
